Sunspots






          Who doesn't love a good nap?  Once the leaves drop from the trees in October until new ones sprout in May, we get bright, warm sunbeams through our south windows.  That's when the "napping feline sundials" appear.  As I pass through the living room throughout the day, I always find cats soaking up sun.  Because the angle of the beam shifts over the hours, the cats must continually move in their sleep to stay in the light.
           In case you don't get a break today, here are a few photos of how wonderful a little catnap in the sunshine can be.
