Tonight I discovered another sound hedgehogs make besides huffing
like a steam engine. As Henriette was
playing she occasionally wanted Toby to move so she could get around him. In
frustration she would growl. At first I
thought it was my stomach, because it sounded just like tummy rumbling, but
when I heard it a second time, I realized it was coming from the other side of
the room.
I
also discovered that a running hedgehog is the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever
seen. Here’s this round, spiky ball that
moves lightning fast on tall, skinny, bird-like legs. What a hoot to watch!
I
never cease to be amazed and thrilled at the surprises God throws into his
creations.
